DC Temple Trip
We finally managed to swing a trip to DC. It was really rainy but it was so nice to make it to the temple and spend a quiet day as a family.

Tagged...and in love!
Well I've been tagged to tell all about my husband. It's a good thing because he is usually more exciting than I am.
1. His name:Shawn 2. How long have you been married? 4 years,7months, 26 days (Doesn't sound very long that way. I prefer to say 'nearly 5 years')
3. How long did you date? February of 'o3 through April of '03....engaged 2 weeks after Conference, married that July.
4. Who eats more sweets? ME!
5. Who said 'I love you' first? He did.
6. Who is Taller? Me.......I'm 5'2", he's 6'1"....Well, at least we are BOTH taller than our kids.
7. Who can sing better? Shawn by far!
8. Who is smarter? Shawn.
9. Who does the laundry? We both do. He gets it started, and I finish it a couple of days later when I remember that there are towels sitting in the washer and I run out of clean underwear. Then, he comes home and helps fold and put away. Good system!
10. Who pays the bills? He makes the moolah, I write the check.
11. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me, and if we try to switch I can't fall asleep.
12. Who cooks dinner? Usually I do, however, Shawn enjoys cooking more, and is way better at it. I can bake anything that resembles bread, but as soon as the recipe says anything about spices, herbs, saute',.....my palms start to sweat and I end up making a pot pie or tacos
13.. Who drives? He does when he's home, I do when he's gone and when he's tired after a long voyage at sea.
14. Who is more stubborn? ME....and I don't think he'll let me forget it.
15. Who kissed who first? He kissed me. I'm irresistible!
16. Who asked who out first? He asked me out and we went to Porter's Place. I probably had Porter's Favorite.
17. Who proposed? He did.
18. Who wears the pants? Well, I don't know, but I am the only one who wears the dress.
I definitely love him more today than yesterday, and even more than 5 years ago!

Finland!
Okay, so I was way way WAY off in my guess as to where my little bro would be called to serve on a misison. I guessed Singapore....hmmm. Well, he's going to Finland. I am totally excited though. Unfortunately, I don't think any Navy-related jobs will land us there, which dashes my hopes of getting to feed the little dude at my kitchen table. Oh well. Anyway, tonight I thought I'd learn a bit about the Northern lights...Pretty cool.
